The scent is our last jigsaw puzzle that makes our outfit complete. Though you wear iota of perfume, it plays out a major role in your personality grooming like it makes you more attractive, boost confidence, enhance mood, and more importantly, give you a sense of unique identity.

But a question arises how should we wear so we can keep the scent last long. Well, here we are going to give you some tips to follow them up.

Wear it on the pulse points of your body

It is important to note that you should put on perfumes on the pulse points of your body. Wondering what these pulse points are? Well, pulse points are simply a few parts of your body that emanate heat, which helps the scent to exude from your skin into the air, namely the inside of the wrists, the base of the throat, behind earlobes, in the cleavage, behind knees, and the inner portion of the elbows.

Wait for the perfume to dry

Once you apply the perfume on your pulse points, wait for the scent to get dried up and absorb well to your skin. Rubbing the scent can cause the change of smell and, secondly, it can dull up the scent of the perfume. Hence, leave your skin after you put on perfume on your skin till it gets completely absorbed into your skin.

Hydrate your skin with lotion

The perfume sticks better at hydrated skin than dry skin. It is thus a good idea to moisturize your skin with either lotion or oil. You can use petroleum jelly as well. The perfume will lock to the jelly molecules and as a result, the scent will stay longer.

Hold your bottle at least 5-7 inches away

It is highly advised to hold your perfume bottle around 5-7 inches away from your body so that perfume extends the maximum area. Additionally, perfume consists of essential oils and using it near your skin can end up giving you burning sensations or might damage your skin.

Wear your perfume after a shower Your skin swallows perfume effectively well after it is warm, and skin pores are open after taking a shower, especially if you take a bath with lukewarm water. Try to use little to naught scented soap so that your perfume scent gets not clashed with your soap scent.
